Portoferraio – We start with the main town in Elba Island and, according to many, this is also the most representative city of the entire island. Things to see in Portoferraio are so many: Medici’s fortresses, Medici dock, the ancient Roman villas that are located within walking distance from the old town, beaches as Ghiaie and Sansone. Not to forget that Napoleon lived here during his exile on Elba: in Portoferraio you can relive a part of the fascinating history of the French Emperor.
Capoliveri – From the coast north to the south coast. Capoliveri is the second most important town of the island. A town for those seeking sea and relax on vacation: nearby there are some of the most beautiful beaches of the island, as: Felciaio, Naregno and Innaborata. Fot Focardo, the shrine of Madonna delle Grazie and Monte calamita are the other things to see in Capoliveri.
Rio Marina – On the east coast of Elba Island. Rio Marina is also suitable for a holiday dedicated to relaxation and tranquility, especially if the trip is with the whole family. Here are some of the best beaches for children on the island. And here is no shortage of things to see, such as the famous Mineral Park, the church of San Rocco and the harbor tower.
Ring western island of Elba – The fourth town to see in Elba Island is actually a route. The ring is the western road from Procchio to Marina di Campo, along the west coast of the island. A path that passes close to some picturesque little towns like Procchio, Marciana Marina, Poggio, Chiessi, Marina di Campo.
