Laconella: a beach on Elba Island for snorkeling and relax

It’s one of the most beautiful beaches near Capoliveri, on Elba Island. With an incomparable view on the coast, the sea, and the whole Tuscan Archipelago. For relaxing and snorkeling, the recommended place of this Island is Laconella beach.

The beach – In a sense, this is a beach with two souls. Laconella is a white sand half-moon beach. Only on the right side of the beach there are white pebbles smoothed by the sea and little rocks that rise from the water. The sea is clear and calm. In addition to this, the water is shallow, and for this characteristic Laconella beach is a good place during a holiday with children.

Services – Laconella is a pristine one, and there are no services. The beach is very tranquil, a place for relax. Near Laconella there is another famous beach of Elba, Lacona.

Sport – The beach of Laconella is recommended for snorkeling. The water is shallow, in the sea there are several species of multicolored fishes, and the rocks on the right side can be discovered with diving mask and snorkel.

How to get there – Laconella beach is reachable by the street from Lacona to Marina di Campo, following the guide-posts to the camping of the same name. From the camping, after parking the car, a dirt 100 meters long dirt road leads to the beach.
