Relax, plunges, a pristine inlet: this is Felciaio Beach, Elba Island

It’s one of the most beautiful beaches not only of Capoliveri but the whole Elba Island. And it is one of the most famous thanks to its beauty, quiet, white sand mixed with smooth pebbles. In other words, this is an ideal place if you are looking for peace and relax in the pristine nature of the island. This is Felciaio beach.

Beach of Felciaio, almost pristine, is a little inlet in the South coast of Elba Island. There is only one way to reach this immaculate beach: a little dirt patch from the locality of Valdana, near Lido di Capoliveri (halfway between Portoferraio and Porto Azzurro). The delicate natural equilibrium of this area is intact.

In addition to this, the beach of Felciaio is totally free. And there are no services on the beach: no coffee shops neither lidos. For these reasons the beach of Felciaio isn’t good for a holiday with children on Elba Island.

Instead, the beach of Felciaio is very recommended for who is looking for quiet, relax, sun, a wonderful sea, set in an immaculate and above all rarely visited inlet. From the beach it’s possible to admire the view on Elba Island South-West coast. On the right side of the beach, there is a sort of little natural pool where it’s possible to plunge.
