The delivery of Elba ferries tickets valid for boarding, can occur in different ways, in fact in step 4 of the reservation process you are asked to choose between the following ways:

- delivery of tickets via email - no extra charge

- delivery of tickets by post - surcharge

- collecting tickets from the Customer Reception Office in Piombino (if the tickets are for Piombino-Portoferraio) – surcharge

In some cases the choice is limited for practical reasons, e.g. postal delivery of ferry tickets may not be possible if the ticket booking date for ferries to Elba is too close to the date of travel. If this is the case, to protect the customer who has booked their ferry tickets from not receiving them on time, it is better to send the tickets by e-mail or, if there are at least two days available, to the Customer Reception Office at the maritime station in the port of Piombino.

For reservations with the first crossing departing from the Port of Portoferraio (Elba) tickets can be picked up at our offices without charge, however please telephone first to check opening times.
